From the ceremony to the drinks reception and then onto the wedding breakfast, the tone of the day was set by his knowledge of how we wanted our day to be and his ability to organise and entertain us and our guests!

And then words cannot describe how good the evening was!! Andy came into his own with tune selection that worked the crowd, coupled with Jay on the bongos, which created the best party atmosphere possible!! We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Throughout the day Mr H made both myself and my new wife Becky Parker feel so special and we are so glad we made the choice to put Andy in charge of our wedding's entertainment... Our established Mr H DJ Showband is the newest, most exciting and elegant DJ live band on the circuit. It will set your event apart from others and matching this with over 35 years experience to share with you to guarantee you and your guests an outstanding Simcha.

The Showband were very honoured to be asked by Mr Bejerano (owner of Sopwell House Hotel) to perform at his Wedding last year. It was an incredible evening with four of our fantastic vocalists, an electric violinist, saxophonist and percussionist doing spot performances throughout the meal and ending the night on a high with the collective Mr H Showband rocking the dance floor until early hours of the morning. 

First developed 15 years ago as a Contemporary and Fashionable alternative to a traditional Toastmaster. Dressed in full smart Dinner Suit your Compère would provide you with co-ordination and structure of your special day.  Helping navigate you and your guests around your selected venue, keeping timing on track working alongside your venue’s event manager as one perfect team.

We would of course take care of organization of your Receiving Line (if required), individual and personal introductions to the all important Speeches, complete co-ordination of cutting the cake all taken care of in a confident professional yet informal lighthearted approach without any rigid formality. We have Informally Compèred hundreds of events and bring you the magic fun touch often lacking with the more traditional red-coated toastmaster or the very busy venue’s duty manager.  We can also add touches of comedy and or modern twists if required.  As founders of the International Informal Compère’s Association (IICA) our team of professional and individual Compères are fully endorsed as completely competent and will certainly add a real touch of elegant structure to your special day. 

As part of a package we can also provide you with the benefit of a PA system for your wedding breakfast allowing you to play our or your own music during your meal. We then have the option to add some truly magnificent live performers for your meal, like a saxophonist or a female vocalist or even a Frank Sinatra Tribute all of which are total crowd pleasers and will certainly get your guests in the mood in advance of the speeches and evening party.

We will jointly put together a perfect plan for your special day to ensure that everything runs on schedule. We will be as involved as much or as little as you’d like and with one main aim to help make your day run smoothly. 

We are delighted that even some venue senior management over the years have selected our Informal Compère service, over their own in-house event managers, when requiring someone to take on the announcement role for their own personal weddings.  This of course is the highest of honors for us as well as and a real privilege.

Our very special staging may be used for so many things. Putting your entertainers on an elevated area makes a great feature of them and will help your guests see the performance more easily. Our unique Tranzstage © is a perfect choice for an amazing look as all lighting is under the stage and projects through the transparent top. You can also use this under your head table too. Our Opaxstage © is a white opal topped stage meaning it may be coloured or colour-changing again a magnificent visual under your entertainers. We also offer a carpet-topped Stage in any colour of your choice and regular wooden finish in black. We also believe that staging can be made to look a feature in itself by changing the traditional layout to be varying heights and overlapped.

Selected by celebrity Jeff Galvin and his now wife Georgette to provide complete day hosting with our Informal Compère service, providing top class saxophonist entertainment during their very special wedding breakfast in Jeff’s own Michelin Starred restaurant “La Chapelle” in the heart of London.  

The evening celebration followed also in the restaurant where the Mr H team set about room themeing the listed building with uplighting and ceiling projections.  

The core entertainment was taken care of by the Unique Mr H Showband including our amazing singers, saxophonist, percussionist and holding it all together the Mr H DJ/Host acted as show director.

A really special time was had by all and a real privilege to be selected to play such a pivotal role on your special day.

Many outside spaces are very beautiful during the day but at night you  cannot see them at all. Why not take the opportunity to colour them and make a great feature of your venue when the sun goes down. Our external lighting systems can be set on single colour or synchro colour scrolling.
